Purpose

This policy explains how Ben Hemden Law Firm handles personal data collected through this website, mainly when you contact the firm.

Google Tag Manager is the tag-management container. Google Analytics (GA4) may measure visits and contact actions only after your analytics consent, which is denied by default. You can refuse or change your choice through “Manage cookies”. Strictly necessary storage remains available; no advertising personalization is used.

With your permission, browsing and interaction data may be sent to Google for this measurement. The configured event hooks do not send entered contact details, message contents or attachment names. The Cookies page explains how to manage your choice.

Data that may be collected

Depending on the exchange, data may include: full name; email address; telephone number; message content or a summary of your situation; the practice area concerned; optional attachments (PDF, JPG or PNG) sent through the contact form; and, where applicable, information you voluntarily share in a WhatsApp or telephone exchange.

Attachments are optional. They are transmitted to the firm through the email-delivery provider used for the contact form. The website does not intentionally keep a separate permanent copy of those files in an application database or storage. Attachments may nevertheless be processed or transmitted by the email provider according to how its service operates.

Ordinary technical data (server logs at the host) may be processed to operate and secure the site.

Purposes

Data are used to: respond to your request; assess whether the firm may act; carry out any useful preliminary checks (including possible conflicts of interest); and handle the initial administrative follow-up of the contact.

They are not used for automated commercial prospecting.

Basis for processing

Processing is based on your voluntary contact and on the firm’s legitimate interest in organising replies to enquiries and complying with professional obligations.

Access and recipients

Access is limited to firm personnel authorised to handle the request.

The website host, Vercel Inc., may process technical data as part of providing infrastructure. The email-delivery provider used for the contact form receives and transmits the message (and any optional attachments) in order to deliver it to the firm. The contact form may use Cloudflare Turnstile to limit automated submissions; that service may process technical data related to the verification. Personal data are not sold.

Retention

Contact information is retained only for the period reasonably necessary to handle the request, to complete initial administrative follow-up, and to comply with applicable professional or legal obligations.

Security

The firm applies reasonable measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration, having regard to the nature of the exchanges and the site’s technical means.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, rectification or erasure of data concerning you, or object to certain processing, within the limits set by law and the firm’s professional obligations.

Language preference
